Hot keys and the modal menu


Hot keys can be found in the bottom part of the screen. They offer quick access to the basic functions for viewing and managing channels. or When in background preview mode, brings you back to the main menu. When in full screen mode, opens the channel list without background preview. or Opens the sidebar modal menu with additional options.

Opens the channel recording window, both in the background preview mode and in the full screen mode. A pop-up window contains recording start and stop time (you can schedule your recordings in advance), recording duration, the channel name, the end file name (*.ts format, the default name includes its start time), the media to save the recording. To navigate the window, use left/right and up/down arrows. To scan through numerical values (recording start and end time), you can also use and buttons.

To navigate selection fields with options/settings (Channel, Record to), use the left/right arrow to switch between available variants. The button opens a drop-down list. Use up/down arrows to move between lines, and to scan through pages. A quick search by first entered symbols is supported. Current record status and state are displayed in the Record Manager. The recorded file will be saved to a selected location in a folder created automatically (Records/Channel Name/Record Date).

Selects the channel when the cursor hovers over it for further actions (Delete – or , other options are present in the modal menu: Cut, Copy, Add to Group, etc.). Move the cursor along the list to select several channels. To unselect a selected channel, press once more.

Add the channel to Favorites. Favorite channels in the list are marked by a yellow star. You can also find your favorite channels in the relevant folder of the Home Media section.

When in full screen mode, the modal menu offers the following options:

Audio tracks control (if any) Subtitles control (if any) Temporary TimeShift deactivation (valid only for one session, reset after exiting the IPTV Channels application) Temporary settings for the TimeShift buffer: Cyclic Buffer and Stop When Full (valid only for one session, reset after exiting the IPTV Channels application)

Advanced TimeShift settings can be found in the Settings group of the Main Menu. To learn more about advanced TimeShift settings, go to the Settings section of the Help.

Note: For your changes to take effect, save them to your device memory. When you exit and return to the Main Menu, the system pops up a message reminding about changes in the section. You can either save or cancel them.
